The X2-10GB-LR-C Transceiver is a 10.3 Gbps X2 optical transceiver that provides an IEEE 802.3ae version 5.0-compliant 10.3 Gbps Ethernet.The X2-10GB-LR-C optical transceiver transmitter section decodes four 8B/10B encoded channels at 3.125 Mbps from a XAUI parallel data bus, performs 64B/66B scrambling and multiplexes the result into either a 10.3 Gbps (Ethernet) optical signal launched into a single-mode optical connector.
