Internet Marketing Specialist

Hardware.com is rapidly expanding its e-commerce efforts in both the US and abroad.

Position Overview

Our ideal candidate is a skilled and motivated Internet Marketing professional with 2 – 3 years of hands-on experience with various online marketing strategies, including: website SEO (white hat tactics), paid search, dynamic email campaigns, online analytics reporting, and limited web design for use in online marketing and lead generation campaigns.

Responsibilities of the Internet Marketing Specialist

  • Manage all US websites, blogs, and online platforms.
  • Apply search-friendly SEO keywords to copy for websites, blogs, social media, etc.
  • Manage extensive PPC campaign daily and adjust accordingly to maximize return.
  • Execute email campaigns and online advertisements.
  • Implement and manage (daily) white hat SEO methods.
  • Research and develop keywords for multiple brands.
  • Create new and optimize existing landing pages and meta titles and descriptions
  • Analyze website analytics daily and adjust accordingly utilizing tracking tools. Report monthly on statistics, changes, and progress to Marketing Manager.
  • Keep abreast of the latest SEO and SEM industry information and trends.
  • Manage and optimize use of social media channels, including video and other interactive platforms.

Position Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in Web development, Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies for Google
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Knowledge of SEO pertaining to e-commerce industry
